The romans could never had imagined that they laid the first stone to one of the worlds most established brands when they founded Barcelona about 2 000 years ago. Barcelona is today a european design center and a top destination with 86 fairs a year, a culture core with a smart sense of heritage, taking care of the old buildings, and traditions, but at the same time in a very concious way promote the city without loosing it´s soul.

The real turn for Barcelona came in 1992, when it went from being an industrial city to a chic urban metropolis, and hostess for the olympic games. The city went through a makeover and large parts of the city was rebuilt to "embrace the ocean". The everydaylife here is hard to a hand of, everyday you have something new going on.

Architecture and design of masters like Antonio Gaudí, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso and a beach in the middle of the city and you get a combination of a urban metropolis hard to beat. And when the city has gotten it´s grip around you it selldome let´s loose. It´s like the first love, you only fall once.
