I, hostel

Hello, I am Garden house hostel . I was constructed in the beginning of the 1900:th century, and my floors are tiled with typical Catalan modernist patterns. I am from Barcelona , and I've been here all my life. From my terrace you have a view over Barcelona city and the whole Horta district, that's my neighborhood. Horta is famous for being a green and safe neighborhood, with a lot of parcs, such as Parc de Laberint d´Horta , Parc Central de Nou Barris and Parc del Turó de la Peira , but of course my garden is the coziest!! 10 musts in when in Barcelona : 1. Sagrada Familia is the most visited monument in Barcelona, and one of the most famous symbols of the city. The construction began in 1901, one hundred years ago, but stopped because the architect, Antonio Gaudí got hit by a tram and died! They still didn't finish, so hurry up before they finish. 2. Wander around the Parc Güell is a classic and also a must, you could spend a whole day discovering new things and places and you´d never stop being amazed! Garden House Hostel 10:th anniversary

One more year has passed and the 15:th of February will be my 10:th year anniversary as hostel!! And 5:th year as Garden House! I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all, old and new guests and friends to my birthday party that will be held on the 15:th here on Carrer Hedilla 58! There will be some events, live music, and something to eat and drink and of course a huge cake and a lot of fun!! It's you guys who make this place what it is!!!!! Without you, my dear friends I would be nothing. It's you who bring the life and spirit to this place, and every one of you has left a mark on me....both literally and metaphorically speaking ;) many of you left greetings, words and drawings in our guestbook or on a stone in my garden.
